APRS tracking is becoming much
more useful as the tools utilizing tracking information
and those needed to create tracks become easier to
operate.
Over the weekend, my 1998 Honda GoldWing-SE made it
to two meeting locations that had requested
support. While traveling to these places the APRS
tracker laid down a 427-mile long track on the Internet
that was viewable by anyone in real-time. Tracking
maps and position reports are displayed on the web site
hosted by FundU.Com.
Because
tracking maps don't last very long, their images were
captured and are now displayed in the
"Tracks" items linked by the Table of
Contents.
