Tour de Cure - 2003  Rest Stop Details

Stop # Routes Start @ Location: Notes:
1 100-K 7:00 AM Skyline & La Honda (Route 35 & 84) First stop on 100K route.

Cyclists leave at 7:00 am and will arrive at approximately 8:00am.

2 100-K 9:00 AM Pescadero & Stage Road Second stop on 100K route.

Cyclists will leave at 7:00 an and arrive at approximately 10:00 am

Telephone at post office is unable to receive calls.  If there is an emergency and the radio operator is unable to reach net control, please call using the post office phone or go to the nearest phone in town.

Ham needs a high-gain antenna and mobile radio setup as hand-held radios don't have the punch to make it from this rest stop.

3 100-K 10:00 AM Tunitas Creek and Skyline Blvd Third and Final Rest Stop for the 100K. 

Cyclists will leave at 7:00 am and arrive at approximately 12:30 pm.

4 50-K 9:00 AM Alpine and Portola Road Located at the Pollack Financial Group parking lot across from the fire station. 

The 50K cyclists leave at 9:00 and will arrive about 10:00am. 

 All cyclists should be through this rest stop by 12:00.  

5 50-K
25-K
9:00 AM Canada Road at Edgewood Road  Located on the west side of the road.  

This is the second rest stop on the 50k and the only one for the 25k.  

50K cyclists leave at 9:00 am and will arrive  about 11:00am.

25K route opens at 10:00 am

Double the supplies for this stop. 

No autos will be allowed on Canada from Edgewood to Half  Moon Bay Road.

ˇ SAG wagons will be on the course and will be notified to pick up any downed cyclists.
ˇ Amateur radio operators will be stationed at each rest stop.
ˇ All Routes close at 2:00pm.
